It consists of an oval shape that is covered with matching blue and burgundy feathers. At the top center there is a spray of curled burgundy feathers plus a burgundy and black taller feather. The hat is covered in navy veiling, which is tied at the back and streams down. A unique feature is the asymmetrical felt bands at the back.
